Château de Vaulogé, Fercé-sur-Sarthe

In a romantic and enchanting setting, the 15th century castle is surrounded by broad moats home to wild ducks, herons and swans.

Protected by crenulated walls and a prison, Château de Vaulogé with its towers and its turrets was extended in the 19th century, in the neo-gothic style.

The charm and refinement of its living rooms and bedrooms will delight guests who wish for calm and serenity.

Benefit from your own private entrance to the castle and the grand salon and library. Wireless internet is available in the lounge and library. Flowers grace every bedroom and a welcome aperitif is offered.

In the unique grounds you can find 2 chapels, a former prison and a mill. The castle features its own vegetable garden, and a delightful promenade in the woods and along the banks of the small River Gée.

From September to the end of 2008, Château de Vaulogé offers cooking lessons twice a month (French / Italian cuisine)
